Not quite as zippy as a Kindle Fire, which is to be expected, but so far I like this tablet. ICS is nice and runs smoothly. Everything I've installed so far has worked -- Kindle, Skype, Facebook, Angry Birds, and a few other apps. Angry Birds starts up a bit slow, but otherwise plays just fine. Skype video chat works fine for me. Kindle is responsive and pleasant to use. PDFs display pretty well in Adobe Reader. Google Maps runs nicely.

Overall if you're looking for a 7" tablet with ICS and Google Play installed, working video chat, and compatibility with basic apps, I'd recommend this.

* Update 1 *
Battery life, not surprisingly, isn't the greatest. With wi-fi on, I get a little over two hours of heavy use. If you're going to watch a movie or play music from your micro SD, turn off wi-fi first to maximize your battery life.

* Update 2 *
When I bought this here, it cost less than a hundred bucks. It was worth that. I wouldn't recommend spending more for this model. If you're considering paying a triple digit price, I suggest passing on this one and spending a little more to get a tablet with a 1024x600 screen and/or dual core processor.
